VASLan is maintaining a database of groups that are delivering services to the community during this crisis If you know of any group delivering COVID-19 related services or find any errors in any of the groups listed please take the time to let us know by sending the details to office@vaslan.org.uk so that we can update our database

Leadhills community Council

Village has a red/green card system in operation. A member of community council drives round village regularly to check for red cards which indicate help is required. A bag containing a description of type of help required is left on/at door for pick-up. Community Council volunteers deal with requests and return bags to doors. They have also received funding from Clyde Wind Farm to provide a hot meal to those vulnerable or "Sheilding" - at present 15 but rising daily.

Scotlands Homeless Project

Scotlands Homeless Project support the homeless and those in need throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow through distributing hot food, drinks and emergency provisions. During the COVID-19 crisis the organisation is distributing food provisions to foodbanks and has access to a van for collection and delivery. Collections can also be made for other third sector organisations.
