Anubis Security Ltd

Anubis Security Limited are offering a free shopping delivery service to anybody over 60 in Carluke who is currently self-isolating and needs provisions. The company will collect basic provisions and deliver to those in need. Those requiring such support should contact the company via its Facebook page or on 01555 771864.

Avondale Community Support

Serving the ML10 area.  They will collect/deliver prescriptions, mail, do shopping and offer mental health support.  They can also help people unable to afford to buy food in partnership with local Community Councils and the Evangelical Church.  There are 3 main ways to contact the service: through the online form (http://bit.ly/ResilienceSupportRequest),  printed forms that can be collected and left after filling in at Craig's, Computer Shop and Sainsbury's in Strathaven or by phoning 07599 487 216

Blackmount Community Council

A volunteer 'Lifeline Service' has been established to provide support to vulnerable people in the Blackmount community (including Dolphinton, Elsrickle, Candybank, Walston, Weston, Libberton, Newbigging, Greenshields, Dunsyre,
Walton) who are self-isolating and in need of assistance. The group can provide support with picking up essential supplies, posting urgent mail, collecting prescriptions and a friendly phone call. Those in need should contact one of the below telephone numbers and advise their name, request and location so that a local volunteer can be assigned:

CamGlen Covid Support Group

The CamGlen Covid Support Group consists of all local politicians and community organisations and in the area including Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust. The group is providing a range of support including help with shopping, a friendly telephone call, advice/information and food parcels for local individuals and families who are struggling. Those interested in volunteering should complete the online registration form on the group's website.
