Lesmahagow Development Trust is providing a volunteer shopping and prescription collection service to anyone in Lesmahagow who is self-isolating or simply struggling to get out during the current crisis. The Lanark branch of Morrisons has established a new delivery service for those within a 10 mile radius of the store who are elderly, vulnerable or shielding. Those who are eligible can call the contact centre on 0345 611 6111 and select option 5. Orders will be delivered the following day and payments made at the door using card only. The service is particularly useful for those with no access to the internet.
Older and Active in East Kilbride– Offering a volunteer shopping service covering all supermarkets in EK, and a community shopping delivery service with the Co-op in East Kilbride.

Scotlands Homeless Project support the homeless and those in need throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow through distributing hot food, drinks and emergency provisions. During the COVID-19 crisis the organisation is distributing food provisions to foodbanks and has access to a van for collection and delivery. Collections can also be made for other third sector organisations.
Share Alike – a food bank service being operated by SAVI Kids. Food parcels are delivered to the doorstep every Tuesday and Friday. The service can be accessed via the SLC helpline on 0300 100 6100. Service available in East Kilbride
