Magic of Disney Comes to Larkhall

After being approached by Elle, the owner and director of Fun4AllParties, the Covid19 Rainbows Larkhall group agreed to help facilitate a magical day for the children before returning to school. With the help of the partners, Community Links, Larkhall and District Volunteer Group, Larkhall Community Growers, Larkhall Taxi Company, SLC, NHS and volunteers the vision of that day emerged.

Hareleeshill and Strutherhill were perfect locations for the event and on a beautiful sunny day extra sunshine was brought to children of all ages, even big children. Children, and adults, danced and sang with their favourite characters with time given for each child to be videoed or pictured with Elsa, Anna and Olaf, Belle, Rapunzel, Moana, Sofia The First and friends. Full of fun and dance moves, Spiderman entertained everyone with his Gangnam Style moves, Batman with The Floss, Peppa, Buzz and Minion Bob moving in all directions, Turtle Donatello ‘Dad Dancing’ and Mickey and Minnie as cool as ever, The Magic of Disney came to Larkhall.

Elle said this, “Since the beginning of lockdown the children have been isolated from school, after school groups, they have had no fun birthday parties or family gathering, I just want to allow them to dream again. Dream of a future that allows them to have fun, be inspired, help build their characters, give them permission to be together with friends safety and give them hope for a better future”.
