Homeless Project Scotland
Homeless Project Scotland has recently received funding which has helped them secure a laptop, printer and mobile internet access, Colin has a message to share:
"The team at Homeless Project Scotland would like to thank everyone at VASLan for all the support received since launching in October 2019. Without the guidance, knowledge and experience shared we would not be where we are today. Last year, the project started by volunteers walking around the streets of Glasgow carrying a backpack containing sandwiches and a flask for a hot drink aiding homeless people to have something nutritious to eat and drink.
Only because of the guidance received from VASLan and their dedicated staff, mainly Stuart and Peter, who without all the help with governance, correct policies and expert help with using the correct practices required, the project would not be as far as it is today. As a registered charity, we have a soup kitchen allowing people access to hot food and drink during the cold winter months to now suplying and distributing 2,000 meals a week throughout Glasgow, South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire and central belt.
In less than a year, thanks to the funding provided by VASLan, the charity has managed to secure a laptop, printer and mobile internet access, to allow the expansion and growth to continue.
Without the first-class knowledge and support from everyone at VASLan, Homeless Project Scotland would not be the success it is today and for that we will be eternally grateful.
We look forward to expanding our working relationship and eager to see what the future brings."
