Volunteers’ Week takes place every year from the 1st – 7th June and is a time to say thank you for the fantastic contribution volunteers make.
Volunteers’ Week provides a great opportunity to show our appreciation of the vast number of people who give their time and energy to support their communities in South Lanarkshire and help others through volunteering.
2022 marks the 38th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), when VASLan will join thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognising the contribution volunteers make across the UK and thanking them for all they do.
As part of the celebrations, and in conjunction with Scotland's Themed Year: Year of Stories, VASLan are asking everyone in South Lanarkshire to get involved to share your wonderful stories to celebrate Volunteers'Week. Whether it is your first volunteering experience, your most memorable volunteering moment or saying thank you yo all volunteers in South Lanarkshire, we would love to hear your stories!
